Getting here by car
Whichever direction you are coming from, head for Piazza di Porta Santo Stefano, located in the southern part of the city near the hills.
Then take Via Murri and, at the first traffic light, turn right onto Via Giambattista Gandino.
After 300 meters, turn left (Via Gandino will become Via Bellacosta) and continue for about 500 meters: at the intersection with Via Santa Barbara turn right.
After about 200 meters, turn left onto Via Santa Margherita al Colle; follow the road, which goes uphill, for about 750 meters.
You will find the large gate of Accademia al Colle on your left at the street number 14.
Then take Via Murri and, at the first traffic light, turn right onto Via Giambattista Gandino.
After 300 meters, turn left (Via Gandino will become Via Bellacosta) and continue for about 500 meters: at the intersection with Via Santa Barbara turn right.
After about 200 meters, turn left onto Via Santa Margherita al Colle; follow the road, which goes uphill, for about 750 meters.
You will find the large gate of Accademia al Colle on your left at the street number 14.
Public transportation
- Bus stop No.16 in via Bellacosta/Santa Barbara (about 800 m away) in the direction of the city center
- Bus stop no. 30 e Shuttle A in Via Castiglione (near the side exit of Giardini Margherita about 1 km away) in the direction of the City Center and the Train Station.
- In case you decide to reach us by public transportation, it will still be necessary to walk the last stretch, because there is no public transportation stop on via Santa Margherita Al Colle.
- PLEASE NOTE that Via Santa Margherita al Colle, where we are located, is a very STEEP street
